These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Equine Practitioner platform ("Service", "Platform"), available at app.equinepractitioner.app and related domains. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. The Service
Equine Practitioner is a cloud-based practice management platform designed for equine practitioners including physiotherapists, chiropractors, osteopaths, and bodyworkers. The Service provides tools for managing clients, horses, appointments, treatments, clinical records, invoicing, and related practice operations.
2. Eligibility and Accounts
2.1. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.
2.2. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You must notify us immediately at if you become aware of any unauthorised use of your account.
2.3. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
2.4. You may not share your account credentials with others or allow multiple individuals to use a single account, unless you are on a team plan that permits multiple users.
3. Subscription and Payment
3.1. Access to the Service requires a paid subscription. Pricing is displayed on our website and may vary by currency and billing period (monthly or annual).
3.2. Subscriptions are managed through Stripe, our third-party payment processor. By subscribing, you also agree to Stripe's terms of service.
3.3. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled. You may cancel your subscription at any time through the Settings page in the application or via the Stripe billing portal.

3.5. We reserve the right to change subscription pricing with 30 days' notice. Price changes will take effect at the start of your next billing period.
3.6. Promotional codes and free trial periods are offered at our discretion and may be subject to additional terms.
4. Your Data
4.1. You retain ownership of all data you enter into the Service, including client information, horse records, treatment notes, invoices, photos, and any other content ("Your Data").
4.2. You grant us a limited licence to store, process, and display Your Data solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.
4.3. You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of Your Data. You must ensure you have appropriate consent or legal basis to store personal information about your clients within the Service.
4.4. We implement reasonable technical measures to protect Your Data, including encryption in transit and data isolation between accounts. However, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
4.5. Upon cancellation of your subscription, Your Data will be retained for 90 days to allow for reactivation or export. After 90 days, Your Data may be permanently deleted. We recommend exporting any data you wish to keep before your subscription ends.
5. Acceptable Use
5.1. You agree to use the Service only for its intended purpose of practice management.
5.2. You must not:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service or its infrastructure
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
- Upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful content
- Resell, sublicence, or redistribute access to the Service
- Scrape, crawl, or extract data from the Service by automated means
- Use the Service to store or transmit content that infringes third-party rights
6. Clinical Disclaimer
6.1. The Service is a practice management tool. It does not provide veterinary or clinical advice, diagnosis, or treatment recommendations.
6.2. You are solely responsible for all clinical decisions, treatment plans, and professional judgments made in the course of your practice.
6.3. The Service does not replace professional qualifications, insurance, or regulatory compliance. You are responsible for maintaining appropriate professional registrations, insurance, and compliance with applicable regulations in your jurisdiction.
7. Availability and Support
7.1. We aim to provide reliable access to the Service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control.
7.2. We may perform maintenance and deploy updates at any time. Where possible, we will provide advance notice of planned downtime.

8. Intellectual Property
8.1. The Service, including its design, code, features, and documentation, is owned by Equine Practitioner and protected by intellectual property laws.
8.2. Your subscription grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service for the duration of your subscription.
8.3. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, or create derivative works based on the Service.
9. Limitation of Liability
9.1. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Equine Practitioner shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities.
9.2. Our total liability for any claim arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.
9.3. These limitations apply regardless of the theory of liability, whether in contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, or otherwise.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Equine Practitioner from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.
11. Changes to Terms
11.1. We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or through the Service.
11.2. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
12. Termination
12.1. You may terminate your account at any time by cancelling your subscription and contacting .
12.2. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you breach these Terms, subject to reasonable notice where practicable.
12.3. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Section 4.5 applies regarding data retention.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
14. General
14.1. If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
14.2. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.
14.3. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Equine Practitioner regarding your use of the Service.
